Last Christmas season I decided to buy an iPad Mini for my little girl. If the tablet is for me, iPad Mini would never be my choice, I would rather get a Samsung Note 10.1 for productivity, but like I have said it is for my little girl.

Hubby encouraged me to get an iPad Mini due to its affordability (well it is still pricey here in PH as I got it for P19,000), size and its notable applications. Interactive and colorful free/paid apps for kids are just awesome.

Apart from applications for kids, I downloaded social media and productivity apps for my entertainment and work. I also downloaded games for my hubby.

iPad Mini Wi-Fi

The size is very handy, and just right for reading e-books. I have downloaded epub and PDF files from my SkyDrive and spend my night on reading. That is the only time the iPad Mini is free for my entertainment. Hahaha!

Camera wise, I think it has an acceptable photo quality if you use the back camera. Front camera is good solely for video calling.

Recently, Apple released the iOS 6.1 version, I just updated our mini. So far, the problem I encountered is the Wi-Fi connection. There were instances that I could not connect easily to the network, but if I’m not mistaken, Apple launched or will be launching iOS 6.2 for iPhone 5 and iPad mini to fix some bugs including the Wi-Fi problem.

I could not elaborate further, but I know purchasing iPad Mini is so “sulit” because it serves its purpose, that is to entertain our kid and also us.
